Fuel Up
I Before E, except after C – unless your protein.
Protein - you’re such an important molecule in our body that you get to bend the grammar rules. Like many people, I struggle with getting enough protein in my diet daily. Inadequate protein intake can have many harmful effects on the body (i.e. muscle wasting, weakened immune system, fatigue, bad skin, weakened bone health etc.). On the other hand, excessive amount of protein can be harmful to your body too (e.g. kidney disease). Check with your dietitian to see if you are meeting or exceeding your protein requirements and how you can better your diet.
